What I’ve Been Up To
Things have been hectic. I’ve been diving into so many projects. But instead of resisting and only focusing on one, I’m going all in on a couple to see which ones take off the most. I’ve been going hard on my newsletters specifically because I see the power in building direct connections with my audience. Unlike social media platforms that are constantly changing, newsletters give me the control to consistently engage, deliver value, and create lasting relationships. It’s a strategy I’m betting on, and I’m excited to see how it evolves.
Not only am I betting on newsletters, but I’m also betting on brands. I’m focusing on building strong, authentic brands that resonate with audiences and create long-term value.
I’m putting together assets that I can build from multiple angles, not just one. This way, I can diversify my approach and create something that’s adaptable and scalable.
I want to create content loops that feed into each other. For example, for the local business I just started, I’m setting up a blog, a newsletter, a Facebook page, and an Instagram page. Every single piece of content on one platform will serve to support and promote the others. Blog posts will feed into the newsletter, newsletter content will encourage social media engagement, and social media will drive traffic back to the blog and newsletter. This interconnected ecosystem will allow each channel to grow by leveraging the others, creating a self-sustaining flow of content and audience engagement.
This approach will also lead to several methods of monetization, including the Facebook bonus program, blog advertising, newsletter ads, and local merchandise sold across all platforms. Each of these methods will create multiple streams of revenue, ensuring that the business remains adaptable and profitable.
Until next time guys, Jon.
