Creator Hustles Ep. 17 - Why I'm Writing On Medium

Am I doing too much?

I released my first product… It’s a short guide on how creators can take any hobby and turn it into income. It’s only $4.99. If you want to support and also get some value, here it is. I’m going to be updating this and making it deeper and deeper over time. Back to medium…

I’m in the business of trying stuff and seeing if it sticks….

My newest adventure is Medium.

Now here’s why I like Medium.

You don’t need a niche. If I find a new productivity hack within my content systems, I can just write about it on Medium.

For example, I like deep work…. So I can write about that. It’s outside of my current “creator hustle niche” but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t capitalize on the experience.

On Medium we could literally write about our human experiences and make money off of it. For example.. If you like to read. You could write about your top 10 takeaways from each book you read.

It’s basically like a journal where you could make money, which I think, is a no-brainer.

You can write about problems you’ve solved in your home… Problems you’ve solved mentally. Your workout routine and what you’ve learned.

On YouTube and niche blogs, you have to make sure your topics are aligned. However, on Medium you don’t necessarily have to. I think it’s pressure free way to both vent and also have an extra income stream. Here are my stats so far after uploading 2 stories.
