Creator Hustles Ep 4 - time...

stop creating goals in yearly time frames.

Welcome back to Creator Hustles, where we talk about making money online for creators.

I want to tell you about a mistake I made in the first couple of years of creating and trying to make money online…

That mistake is creating goals based on the next year.

When we do this, we often limit ourselves and end up doing much less than we’re capable of.

This is because we often underestimate the amount we could get done in year.

Instead of going in on one goal for this year, i’m planning on breaking things up into 12 week periods.. like the book “The 12 Week Year”.

For the first 12 weeks, i’m focusing on my pinterest side hustle.

  • Create blog posts using chat gpt

  • Images using midjourney

  • posting them on my wordpress site

  • automating pins using pin generator

12 weeks after that is the amazon influencer program… focusing on posting 500 videos.

12 weeks after that I haven’t decided yet, but will decide soon. (im leaning towards a faceless youtube channel)…

Here’s the benefits i’m seeing from doing this type of schedule.

  1. You dive deep into each side hustle, so when it comes to maintenence afterwards, it’s easy. Your brain is wired to do the tasks needed subconsciously which is essential for maintaining that hustle. When you do a whole bunch of side hustles at once, this never truly happens because your at a surface level with each one for a long time.

  2. Diversification—- if I focused on one only for the whole year… and pinterest went down… I’d be looking at a complete loss of a year. I don’t want to see that happen.

  3. The ball never stops rolling. I feel like i’ll never be content.. i’ll always be looking for something new to do and to master.

Keep an eye for my next hustle round up on the 1st of July —- here’s the most recent one if you missed it!
