Pinterest has been a life saver for me. My site got hit by pretty much every update you could think of, and Pinterest has pretty much revived it.

However, I was lucky enough to have niche that suited pinterest… So not everyone could revive their hit sites via pinterest.

Last week I promised you guys i’d create a free email course about my process — so lets get into it.

Step 1: Make sure you get started in the right niche.

Pinterest niches are pretty simple. Think ideas… more importantly visual ideas.

  • DIY Projects

  • Fashion

  • Hairstyles

  • Tattoo Ideas

  • Gardening

  • Food

These are great examples. There are endless ideas that you could come up with in all of these.

Let’s take tattoo ideas for example.

We can do:

  1. Tattoo ideas for women

  2. tattoo ideas for men

  3. mens tattoo ideas for thighs

  4. mens tattoo ideas for chest

  5. Tattoo ideas for grandparents

  6. tattoo ideas for capricorns

  7. tattoo ideas for yankees fans

  8. tattoo ideas for celtics fans…..

The ideas are unlimited.

Step 2. Use a Good Keyword Tool

I specifcially use Keysearch.co for my keyword research. Not only is it cheaper than Ahrefs and Semrush but they have a filter on there that lets you see pinterest results rather than google which is a game changer.

Now what you want to do is start in one category. Each of those categories could have a board on pinterest… For example.

“Horoscope Tattoo Ideas”…

Create an excel sheet or google sheet of each “category” and make as extensive of a keyword list as possible.

  • Capricorn Sleeve Tattoo Ideas

  • Sagitarrius Sleeve Tattoo Ideas

  • Capricorn Chest Tattoo Ideas

  • Capricorn Tattoos For Women

  • Capricron Tattoos For Men….

The list goes on on and on….

Step 3. Create The Blog Posts

This is the fun part.

With Chat GPT theres no reason for you to have to come up with all these ideas your self.

All you have to do is type the prompt.

“Make me a blog post for “capricorn sleeve tattoo ideas”.. Start with an intro paragraph and then give me h2 headers for each idea with small explanation paragraphs… After your write everything, give me an image prompt for each idea and end the prompt with —ar 2:3.

The —ar 2:3 is necessary because it’s the pinterest aspect ratio..

Once you get everything onto a Google doc or your preferred editing station, it’s time to create the images via midjourney.

Here’s an example prompt for the capricron tattoo sleeve post:

A tattoo sleeve featuring a detailed, realistic depiction of a majestic mountain goat, symbolizing Capricorn. The goat is integrated with an astrological wheel, with the Capricorn segment prominently displayed. Earth-related symbols such as rocks, trees, and earthy textures are incorporated. The phases of the moon wrap around the arm, symbolizing time and the cyclical nature of life. Ancient runes and astrological glyphs related to Capricorn are subtly blended into the background, adding a mystical touch. Sacred geometric patterns tie all elements together harmoniously. --ar 2:3

Here’s the result.

You can then upload each of these to the blog post which can all be turned into pins later on using Pin Generator.

So let’s say you use all 4 images for each idea and each blog post has 10 ideas. That means you’ll have 40 pins ready to schedule just from one blog post.

If you make 10 blog posts, thats 400 pins.

With this process it takes me about 45 minutes to do a full blog post and schedule them out.

So if I put my head down, I can make a 4-5 posts per day which means 160-200 pins per day scheduled.

Hack: every time you save an image from midjourney, save it to your desk top so you could easily drag it and drop it into your google doc.

Step 4. Use Pin Generator To Automate Your Posts

Pin Generator is simple… and i’m going to walk you through it..

First step is to enter in your URL, and the type in the number of pins you want to create for the blog post (number of images in the post).

Second step is to uncheck randomize under images, and check use one of each selected template. Then click sleect templates and select the one you want to use for that specific blog post.

Next you want to click on images and hit use one of each image so it makes a pin for every single image.

Then you want to hit generate.. Once you do this a group of your images will pop up. If you have ads on your site, you may get some ezoic or mediavine images.. You can to go through and make sure it’s only images from the content of the blog post. Once you hit the necessary images all you have to do is hit save and then you should see your images in the template you chose.

The last step you want to do before you hit schedule is use the AI feature in order to change the titles and the descriptions of the pins. As you could see there’s an AI keyword section and you want to enter the main idea of your post. When you click rewrite all titles with AI, it will make each title different so you don’t get penalized for having too many pins with the same title.

Lastly, you want to set the schedule according to your goals.

When you hit edit scheduling settings, it allows you to edit the amount of pins you publish per day. You want to keep that low to start and slowly increase (right now I’m at 24 pins per day). I will probably stay here for quite a while.

Once you’ve scheduled a whole lot of pins, I recommend hitting smart shuffle which is on the left side of the schedule page.

Smart shuffle makes sure it spreads out the timing of pinning 2 pins of the same URL to optimize for pinterest.

Any time you change the scheduling number, you also want to hit rest scheduled time as well.

If you have any questions send them my way and I will be more than happy to answer them for you.
